Year-Round Auction
We’re making a big change this year — and we're excited to share that instead of one annual online auction, we’re moving to a year‑round auction format. New items will be added regularly, from major feature pieces to small, meaningful items. No matter the size of your purchase, every bid helps support the refuge, its wildlife, and the programs we provide to the community.
Thank you for joining us in support of the programs and projects of Tennessee and Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuges. Your participation directly strengthens conservation, education, and on‑the‑ground refuge operations.
The Friends of Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge currently supports a wide range of activities, including environmental outreach and education programs, public events, habitat restoration, and funding for seasonal employees and interns. This support has helped provide:
-
A seasonal park ranger to staff the Visitor Center and lead school field trips
-
Seasonal tractor operators to mow and maintain roadsides and levees, and to help prepare and plant millet and wheat fields
-
Seasonal biological interns who assist with wood duck trapping and banding, beaver management, invasive species control, and biological surveys.
Over the last twenty years, staffing has decreased from twenty full‑time employees to just nine. As these gaps grow, the Friends group is increasingly called upon to help fill critical needs.
To continue meeting these challenges, we need your help. Your participation in our online auction directly supports the refuge and the wildlife that depend on it.
